NYC CONSTELLATION ENSEMBLE
RYAN SHREVES & SPENCER FRIEDMAN
Lucie Vítková: The NYC Constellation Ensemble, I started to organize when coming to New York in February 2016. I invite 60 different musicians, artists, composers, philosophers and poets to gather and play on a regular base, meeting every Friday in my living room. Because of New York´s fast rhythm and busy schedules, I get different smaller group of people every week. The members are fluctuating according to their free time and we have core members as well as people just passing by. The music developed out of common experience of equally shared space, when keeping the relationships peaceful. We will play in November with a Constellation of:
Lucie Vítková – accordion, hichiriki, synthesizer, objects
Carolyn Hietter – saxophone
Stevie May – trombone
Alessandra Urso – sho
Zak Hap – sho
Vered Engelhard – percussion
Sydney Viles – theremin
Mario Forte – violin
Ezra Teboul – electronics
Weitao Zhou – shakuhachi
